中煤国际工程设计研究总院

Sino-coal International Engineering Design & Research Institute (SCIEG) grew out of the Central people’s government department of fuel industry coal administration Design Company, established in September 1952, then renamed design institute at December 12, 1952. SCIEG is one of the earliest professional coal mine design institute of China, which has a history of over 50 years.

In the past 50 years, as the change of state organs and affiliation, SCIEG changed its name several times as Beijing Coal Mine Design Institute, Beijing Coal Mine Design Institute of Coal Industry Ministry, Coal Plan and Design Institute of Fuel Chemistry Industry Ministry, Plan and Design Institute of Coal Industry Ministry, Design and Manage Bureau of Coal Industry Ministry, Beijing Design and Research Institute of Coal Industry Ministry and Beijing Coal Design and Research Institute successively. In July 1998, Sino-coal engineering design and consult group was formed with the core of Beijing Coal Design and Research institute as the core enterprise by the official permission of Coal Industry Ministry and State Economic and Trade Commission. The registered name is Beijing Coal Design and Research Institute (Group), which consists of Shenyang, Nanjing, Chongqing, Wuhan and coal preparation design and research institute subordinating to pre-coal administration. In September 2001, Sino-coal international engineering design and research institute was established by the official permission of State Administration of Industry and Commerce.

SCIEG is a large-scale science-corporation group made up by six comprehensive A-grade survey and design institutes (companies), with registered found 0.307 billion and total capital 0.75 billion, and now subordinate to State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of State Council.

SCIEG has more than 3500 employees, in which there are 5 masters of survey or design, over 80 experts who enjoy government stipend, over 130 professor level senior engineers, over 1200 senior engineers and over 1200 engineers. Also it owns 45 grade-1 certified architects, 149 grade-1 certified structural engineers, 63 certified cost engineers, 21 certified public accountants and 543 certified supervising engineers. SCIEG has strong technology strength, professional personnel, advanced technical equipments, plentiful information resources, abundant engineering experience and mature scientific management. Furthermore, its six subsidiary institutes (companies) own state-level grade-a qualification on project prospecting, designing and contracting, and conformity of ISO 9001 quality system certification. SCIEG possesses the ability of meeting our customers’ requirements with high quality.

Business scope: SCIEG actively explores the domestic and overseas market and provides comprehensive services including EPC, consulting, exploration, design and supervision for various construction projects. Main business: Engineering prospecting, survey, design, consultation and supervision of coal mine areas; Overall contracting for engineering and construction projects as well as the related equipment and material procurement and supply; engineering supervision; engineering cost consultation; environmental influence estimation;

SCIEG takes a leading position in coal industry and the coal survey and design industry. SCIEG has taken coalmine construction, electric engineering, municipal engineering and civil construction projects including EPC, designing, consulting and supervision in over 10 countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Vietnam, Mongolia, Albania and Pakistan. Moreover, SCIEG has carried out fully cooperation with many prestigious multinationals, engineering and consultation companies in the world.

中煤国际工程设计研究总院的前身为中央人民政府燃料工业部煤炭管理局设计公司，成立于1952年9月；1952年12月12日更名为设计院，是新中国最早成立的专业煤矿设计院之一，至今已有五十年的历史。

五十年来，随着国家机构更叠和隶属关系的变化，我院几易其名，先后曾冠名为北京煤矿设计院、煤炭工业部北京煤矿设计院、燃料化学工业部煤炭规划设计院、煤炭工业部规划设计总院、煤炭工业部设计管理局、煤炭工业部北京设计研究院、北京煤炭设计研究院等。1998年7月经煤炭工业部和国家经贸委批准，组建以北京煤炭设计研究院为核心企业的中煤工程设计咨询集团，企业注册名称为北京煤炭设计研究院（集团），集团成员单位有原煤炭部部属沈阳、南京、重庆、武汉、选煤设计研究院。2001年9月，经国家工商行政管理总局批准，成立中煤国际工程设计研究总院。

中煤国际工程设计研究总院是由全国六家综合性甲级勘察设计研究院组建而成的大型科技型企业集团，注册资金3.07亿元人民币，总资产额7.5亿元人民币，隶属国务院国有资产监督管理委员会管理。

总院现有职工3500余人，其中勘察设计大师5人，享受政府特殊津贴的专家80余人，教授级高级工程师130余人，高级工程师1200余人，工程师1200余人。一级注册建筑师45人，一级注册结构师149人，注册造价师63人，注册会计师21人，注册监理工程师543人。总院技术力量雄厚，专业配套，拥有先进的技术装备和大量的信息资源，具有丰富的工程实践经验和科学完善的管理体系。总院所属六个全资子企业均持有国家颁发的甲级工程勘察、设计、工程总承包等资质，并均已通过ISO 9001质量体系认证，具备高质量满足顾客需求的素质和实力。
